| I installed GT28R turbos on my TTZ last year. There was a little work that needed to be done, but I enjoyed the work. The main things that I needed to fab up were the wastegate actuator brackets and the adapter plates to attach the stock intercooler pipes to the compressor housing. Neither were difficult. Also, the oil return from one of the turbos needed to be rebent because it hit the compressor housing. For a little more info... see below. For the wastegate actuator brackets, I cut some 3/16" cold rolled plate steel using my 10 amp sawz-all... and bent the brackets using a 12 ton press that I bought at my local "one shot tools (Harbor Freight)". I did make the tooling needed to make a crisp bend, but that was fairly simple too. For the adapter plates, they were 3/16" cold rolled plate steel also... I purchased a hole saw that was the same size as the turbo inlet (I think it was 3") and cut a hole through the plate steel... then I just drilled 4 holes that mated the IC pipe to the compressor housing. The only other thing that I remember being an issue was the oil return on one of the turbos. I can't remember off hand which side it was, but I had to rebend the pipe so that it would not hit the compressor housing of the turbo. I did that by heating the pipe with mapp gas and rebending it.... don't bend it a lot... just do it enough to get it by the compressor housing. Hope this helps. -Jamie
